Watched one episode (someone unpleasant got poisoned as was very obvious would happen) and lost all interest.

Stannis - and i only read the books in between seasons 4 and 5. It was a line, something along the lines of "he'll knight you for changing sides and helping him win a war, but then execute you for being a traitor" that did it for me.
Second is Bronn - glad he has a bigger role in the TV show.
Not what the OP asked, but I can't stand Dany in the books or TV show.

Have to admit, the whole Danareys story has bored me since S1

Dunno about most favourite but leas favourite is Danearys.

I like Cersei. Horrible old cow.
Also the Boltons. Nasty bastards who do what they want.
Tywin WAS the best character by a mile.
